13.14 Checking the Properties of an Engine (v2.5)

It is possible to check the properties of an engine even when the engine is running on another machine. This is useful in situations where you would like to know more about the hardware an engine is running on.

To be able to check the properties of an engine, the engine must be started.

  1. To check the properties of an engine, select the Channel in the Channel View.
  2. Activate the Layers & Engines tab.
  3. Select an existing engine and choose Properties.
  4. A window appears showing you all the details of the machine and the Video device which is used by the engine.
