5.1 Preview

By moving the mouse pointer to the video preview area a small «i» sign in will appear in the upper right corner. Click on it to switch to the info view. The info view can be closed in the by clicking the «x» in the upper right corner.

The information in the overlay displays the Channel Name as well as the Buffer and Memory status. The Buffer value displays the current amount of buffered frames whereas the Memory bar shows the remaining free space in MBytes. In this example 210.74 MB of memory is used.

In the event of a network connectivity problem a large inverted yellow yield sign shows up in the preview area. Please contact your administrator to have him check the connection between the Just In Multi GUI to the Just In Engine QuickTime engine.

In the event of a signal loss, Just In Multi will display a “No Signal” alert to the user and stop the current recording in order to safeguard the recorded clip. Once the signal is back the user can restart the recording. You can optionally choose to continue writing into the same container by checking this option in the Just In Con guration preference panel (see Page 6). We strongly recommend using a frame store on every channel input in order to prevent signal losses.
