The System tab is mainly used for maintenance tasks like checking and saving log files or restarting the recording engine (tme) or just:connect (tjc) remotely or to save a backup file of the just:connect settings, which can be useful later for restoring older configs in case of a failure.

Overview

Open the Configuration Panel, select a Device and switch to the System Tab.

Open

Log files and Refresh button:

Select one of the available log files, which will then be displayed below. Use the Refresh button to update the log file list.

Save Log Files, System Profile or just:connect config file:

Saves the selected Log file to a destination of your choice. You can use the Save All Logs (System Profile) option to save all available log files. The just:connect config file can be saved here as well, by using the Save Configuration option.

Restart services:

Restart the recording engine (tme), just:connect (tjc) or both by using these options.

Reset & Restore:

You can reset the just:connect config and you can restore an old config file here.
