Before upgrading to just:in mac 2025, please note the following changes and macOS requirements:
Changes/Adjustments
Please find changes and adjustments below:
Supported macOS versions
just:in mac 2025 has been further improved to accommodate the latest macOS features and is fully macOS Sequoia (15.3.x), macOS Sonoma (14.7.x) and macOS Ventura (13.7.x) certified.
Please note that the use of Apple silicon hardware is preferred and recommended!
Supported Blackmagic Design DeckLink Drivers
just:in mac 2025 fully support the new generation of Blackmagic Design DeckLink drivers 14.3 and higher.
Online License Activation Process
just:in mac 2025 introduces the new Online License Activation Process already in use by the just:in mac lite product line. This new online license activation offers several advantages, including enhanced security, convenience, and efficiency, especially when a change of hardware is required. The process is straightforward, requiring just an internet connection and a valid license key upon the first activation. Transferring a just:in mac 2025 license from one machine to another is just a matter of deactivating the license on the original hardware and activating it again on the new hardware.
“Local Network” Settings within macOS Sequoia (15.x)
The new Local Network Security feature in macOS Sequoia (15.x) enhances privacy and control by allowing users to manage which apps can access their local network. This feature addresses concerns over unmonitored network access, providing an extra layer of security by ensuring that only trusted applications have access to local network resources, such as printers, file-sharing devices, and other computers. In macOS Sequoia, users are prompted when an application attempts to access the local network for the first time, enabling them to allow or deny access (“System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network”).
When running the Just In Engine and Just Control applications for the first time on macOS Sequoia you will be asked to allow it to discover and connect to devices or other applications on your network. Please click on the “Allow” button to ensure that the communication between the Just In Engine and Just Control applications is guaranteed.
To double-check the connection status, go to “System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network” and ensure that both Just In Engine and Just Control are enabled.
ToolsOnAir Uninstaller
Additionally, an improved Uninstaller application is available within the just:in mac 2025 installation DMG file. Use this utility if you need to restart the configuration from scratch or to completely remove just:in mac 2025 from your system.
