Daylight saving time (v.5.x)
The typical implementation of DST (Daylight Saving Time) is to set clocks forward by one hour in the spring and to set clocks back by one hour in autumn to return to standard time. This could affect your playout when working with a Timecode Source which automatically adjusts during DST changes.
To get the correct new time applied to the Just Out engine, the application has to be restarted. Afterwards, restart the Just Control application as well. Please notethat by restarting the Just Out engine, the ongoing playout will be stopped and the playout will resume at the new time once the Just Out engine has restarted.
If the “Restart on drift” option is activated for this channel in the Just Control Configuration – Advanced settings, and the setting defined there is less than the DST time drift (1h), the Just Out engine will be automatically restarted.
