Within the “System” Tab maintenance tasks, such as saving logs or generating a TOA System Profile, can be performed. Furthermore, and this is a new feature in the just:in linux engine v.5.5. Engine (=Device) Configurations can be saved and later it is possible to switch between these “Configurations”.

Logs & Profiles

The “System” tab is mainly used for maintenance tasks like checking and saving log files (TOA System Profile).

Save - Selected Log

Select one of the available log files, which will then be displayed below. Use the “Refresh” button to update the log file list.

Save - All Logs (System Profile)

With this option it is possible to generate a TOA System Profile, which will save all needed logs files from the system.

Configurations

With “Configurations” it is possible to save and switch recording configurations. This facilitates the on-the-fly configuration swapping for distinctive productions or shows and highly increases operational safety.

By pressing the “New Configuration” button you can create a new Configuration. Enter a Configuration Name and press “Create”.

The Green light indicates that this configuration is currently active and all changes, like Channel settings or Presets, will be saved within this configuration. By using this “New Configuration” button again a second configuration can be created.

The Red light indicates that this configuration is not in use. Loading a Configuration can be done by double clicking on the Configuration itself. Before switching configurations all enabled channels must be disabled.
