Info

Please refer to the Chapter 7.3 Adding Elements to your Rundown (v.5.x) for more information about how to add elements.

Scheduling Events works the same way as using Audio and GFX Graphics.

...

Events are independent of other elements. That means, you can execute such an Event without the need for a Live Event. This allows you to control other systems independent of the real Playout.

Info
  • It is not possible to add Events to the rundown whose drop point is in the past. This would change the current Playout and will therefore be rejected. A warning will be shown instead.

  • Depending on the functionality defined for the selected Event item, playing an Event item can execute one or various events at the same time. Please contact your system administrator for more info.

  • We support an extensive number of routers from different vendors using different protocols. Please → contact us directly if you would like to use a router/protocol which is currently not supported at the moment.

Rule-based Events

It is possible to execute Events based on time (called “Rules”), without the need to schedule an Event in the user interface. Please refer to Chapter 13.18 Configuring Event Devices/Presets and Rules (v.5.x) for more information about Rules.
