[JIM] Storage Systems v.6.5
We have extensively tested various configurations, including standard internal disks and a wide range of systems from different vendors, along with Thunderbolt storage systems directly attached to the device, as well as NAS or SAN systems. In most cases, just:in mac seamlessly interfaces with these storage systems once they are recognized by the macOS operating system. To ensure smooth operation, just:in mac features an internal buffer that temporarily handles data throughput issues encountered with the connected storage.
Please follow the essential guidelines below to prevent data throughput issues during recording:
Minimise unnecessary load on the storage system to ensure optimal performance.
Verify that the selected storage system can consistently deliver the required data throughput for uninterrupted recording.

macOS System Settings
To enable recording to external storage systems, the Just In Engine application requires access to the designated destination. Consequently, the application will prompt for permission to access the network volume during the initial recording attempt. Granting this access is imperative to facilitate recording to the selected destination path.
Please note that this configuration must be performed on the machine running the Just In Engine application.
Once permitted, this can be easily adjusted within the “Files and Folders” settings in the “Privacy & Security” section of the macOS “System Settings”.
