Lockable Inspector And Multi-Viewer
When activating this option, the Inspector and the Multi viewer area are locked for unintended access, Only Users with admin access (macOS System) can change settings within the Just Control user interface. Only the naming section within the Inspector can be adjusted.
This feature can be enabled/disabled the same way as the “Lockable Inspector” setting mentioned above.
Lock multi-viewer drag-and-drop
By using this option, it can be prevented from accidentally dragging and dropping connected Channel Viewers to different Channel Viewers.
Automatically Log In Last User
By checking this option, entering Login credentials is not required, and the last known “User” will be automatically logged in. Please note, that this is only possible for “Users”, which have not yet defined any password.
Mouse Behaviour
You can define which overlays will be shown when entering or exiting a Channel Viewer.
Mouse Enter Action: select whether the specific element will be shown or hidden when the mouse is hovering over a Channel View.
Mouse Exit Action: select whether the specific element will be shown or hidden when the mouse is not hovering over a Channel View.
Quicklook Action: select whether the specific element will be shown or hidden when the Channel is in Quicklook Mode.
Users
In the “Users” tab, you can check and adjust all available “Users” and “Templates”.
The left column lists all existing “Users” and by selecting any of these, you can see the corresponding/allocated “Template(s” (Multi viewer layouts).
Please note that you can only delete “Users” and “Templates”, which are currently not in use.
If you want to change the password of a “User”, select the “User” and press the “Change Password” button.
Enter a new “Password” and press the “Set” button. If you would like to remove the current “Password”, leave the field empty and use the “Set” button.
just:in
Within the “just:in” tab you can currently set one option:
Confirm stop recording
This is a safety feature to avoid unintended recording interruptions. When enabled, a Recording can only be stopped by pressing the “Record” button a second time to confirm the action. This feature applies to the “Crash” and “Schedule” recording modes.
When pressing the “Record” button once, a checkmark appears. Press it again to stop the recording process. Otherwise, the Recording will continue.
Stopping ongoing Recordings with the “Group Stop Recording” button at the bottom of the Inspector is affected by this setting as well.
Appearance (macOS)
Just Control uses the macOS system-wide “Appearance” and “Accent” colour, which is set in the “Appearance” preference pane within the “System Settings…” (macOS Ventura onwards).
