3. Download & Installation (Composition Builder v.2025)

  1. → Download the latest release of the Just Playout bundle, which includes the most recent version of the Composition Builder application for macOS.

  2. Extract the compressed “ZIP” archive.

  3. Open the “DMG” file and follow the shown instructions.

  4. Optional: Install the → Template Package afterward. 

Upon completion of the installation procedure, the Composition Builder application can be found in the “Just Playout” folder inside the “Applications” folder of your Mac.

We do not recommend running the Composition Builder application on a machine where the Just Out engine application is installed. Please consider using a dedicated Apple silicon machine for the real-time graphic template creation.
