13.16 Overriding The Repository Folders Of A Channel (v2.0)

It is possible to override the repositories which are defined for a channel for a single engine client. This is useful in situations where an engine uses a storage system for playout which is different compared to the other interfaces and engines connected to this channel.

  1. To override the channel's repositories, select the channel in the Channel View.
  2. Activate the Layers & Engines tab.
  3. Select an existing engine and choose Configure engine.

This opens a window with three tabs.

1 Repositories: Click on the Repositories tab.

Override channel repositories: Click the Override channel repositories checkbox to activate it.

Define the repositoriesDefine new Video, Audio, Graphic, Playlist and Workflowrepositories by using the Add Repository drop-down menu. Add as many repositories as you want.

4 Apply new engine to: Select the layers you would like the new repository folders to be assigned to and click Apply to take over your selection or Cancel to close this window without saving the new repository folders.

You must restart just:out for any changes to take effect. Restarting just:out will stop the final output temporarily.
