13.13 Using A Graphics Infinite On A Certain Layer (v2.0)

In some situations it is useful to have a graphics template like the station ID (logo) on air by default. Using the just:play user interface, a graphics can be defined to be infinite on air using the method described here. Using the just:live user interface, the interface itself can be used to play a graphics infinite.

  1. To use a graphic which should be on air all the time on a certain layer, select the channel first in the channel view.
  2. Activate the Layers & Engines tab.
  3. There's a column labelled Infinite Layer. Click Choose Infinite Graphic… for the desired layer.
  4. A file browser will appear which allows you to select the graphic file you want to have on air all the time. This can be a QTZ, composition:builder or image (JPEG or PNG) file.
  5. Restart all just:play user interfaces which are connected to this channel to allow them to reflect the changes.

A .qtz or .composition real-time graphics template used as an infinite graphics must contain ONE stop frame, otherwise the graphics will go off air once the composition reaches its predefined composition end. Refer to the → composition:builder User Manual if you want to find out how to add a stop frame to your composition.
