[JIL] Activation v.6.1

just:in linux is always fully featured but is not activated by default, and therefore a ToolOnAir watermark will be added to all Recordings. As soon as you purchase a just:in linux licence, you will receive an activation code to remove the watermark.

Please note that an activation is not required to test just:in linux engine or the Just Control client application.

Activate a Device

Open the Just Control Configuration panel, select a Device, and switch to the “Activation” tab.

To apply any changes, make sure to unlock the Just Control Configuration panel first.

Copy and Paste the Activation Key you have received from ToolsOnAir into the “Activation Code” field and either press the “Enter” key or the "Activate" button. Upon successful activation, the status in the “Current activation status and activated option” list changes from “Yellow” to “Green”.

Please verify that the just:in linux services (tme, tjc) get restarted, after adding the Activation Key.

Switch Activation between Channels

If you are working with frequently changing setups, like you have to change that configuration to use three SDI channels with one (1) additional NDI®5 channel, then please make sure that you only enable the number of licensed channels in use (in this case 4 channels) and not all of them, as you might exceed the number of totally licensed channels on that particular just:in linux appliance.
