Final Cut Pro Projects Media Files Handling

We suggest not using projects with integrated media files (i.e. using the Copy to library option in the Import window) as it makes data centralizing more difficult.

Use dedicated Sharepoints to store your media- and project files instead.

When storing your Final Cut Pro projects on just:store, we suggest using the Leave files in place option in the Final Cut Pro Import window. This allows for a central location of your media- and project files on just:store.

Switching from a running NFS-based Setup to a SMB-based Setup

SMB is a widely-supported and modern protocol, so you may want to switch from NFS to SMB. Please make sure to follow these instructions before doing so.
