just:in Linux version 1.0 introduces just:connect to the just:in world. Customers who use our playout software just:play or just:live may already know just:connect, but for just:in or live:cut customers this application is new.
just:connect works as a middleware between the Recording Engine and the User Interface and handles all Engine related settings. It offers functionality like:
- Central Engine and Channel configuration
- Capture and Destination Presets
- Metadata Settings

- Pre- and Post-Record-Scripts
- Multiple User Interfaces can connect to one Channel
