There are several ways to add a Movie to a schedule. Please see the chapter 7.6 Adding Elements To The Video Track Of A Playlist (v2.0) for more informations.

Movies can be added to a schedule using the Video track by:

  • drag and drop from the Library to an empty area of the Playlist or
  • drag and drop from the Library to the end or in between
  • drag and drop from the Library to an already existing element in the Workbench, to add it right after the existing element.

When the time has been reached where the event has been scheduled, all events within that event will be executed. This allows you to control several video routers and to send several GPI triggers at the same time.

  • You can also drag and drop files from the Finder. In case just:out is running on another machine, the movie must be copied to the other machine using exactly the same path.
  • It is not possible to add a Movie to the rundown whose drop point is in the past. This would change the current playout and will therefore be rejected. A warning will be shown instead.
