This document contains all necessary information on how to install and use live:cut. Before you start using live:cut, please make sure that:

  • You are familiar with the Macintosh environment and OS X.
  • You have the necessary infrastructure to run live:cut.

live:cut speeds up your multi-camera production environment by centralizing ingest, metadata logging and take handling in a simple-to-use user interface. It records an EDL (Edit Decision List) based on trigger information from the switcher, which is transferred to a multi-camera sequence in your NLE of choice. live:cut currently works with Apple Final Cut Pro 7/X and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6/CC/ CC 2014.

Trimming, re-editing and slip & slide operations are available a few seconds after the recording has finished.
