The setup variants listed earlier in this document show that you can have one or multiple just:connect instances available on your network. If the playout is distributed, just:connect will be installed on the machine which will administrate the channel(s). If only one machine is used for the playout, just:out, just:connect and just:live/just:play will be installed on this single machine. When starting just:connect for the first time (or when adding a new channel) you can either create a new channel using the "New Channel Wizard" or restore an already existing channel using the "Restore" functionality and the backup file of a channel.
