Locking

Available options:

  • No locking

  • Lockable Inspector And Multi-Viewer

Lockable Inspector

When activating this feature the Inspector is locked for unintended access, by enabling that setting only users with admin access (macOS system) can change settings within the Inspector. Only the naming section within the Inspector can be adjusted.

Click the Close button of the Inspector while pressing and holding the “Option-Key”. You will notice that the “Close” button turns into a Lock while pressing and holding the “Option-Key”. This indicates that the Inspector can be unlocked.

You need to enter the admin credentials to finally unlock the Inspector.

Lockable Inspector And Multi-Viewer

When enabling this feature the Inspector and the multi viewer area are locked for unintended access, by activating that setting only users with admin access (macOS system) can change settings within the user interface. Only the naming section within the Inspector can be adjusted.

That feature can be enabled/disabled the same way as the “Lockable Inspector” setting from above.

Enter a new Password and press the “Set” button. If you want to remove the current Password, leave the field empty and use the “Set” button.

just:in

Confirm stop recording

This is a safety feature to avoid unindented recording stops. When enabled, a Recording can only be stopped by pressing the “Record” button a second time. This feature concerns all recording modes (Crash and Schedule).

When pressing the “Record” button once, a check mark appears. Press it again to stop the recording process. Otherwise the recording will continue.

Stopping ongoing Recordings with the “Group Stop Recording” button at the bottom of the Inspector are affected by this setting as well.
