In order to play out videos, audio files, graphics or to send GPI/Router commands you first have to load them from the library into the workbench – as demonstrated in this figure.
This can be done using drag and drop but also by double clicking an element in the Library. Once an element is added to a folder, it is available for immediate usage. Above the workbench you see the timeline. Elements in the workbench can be loaded into the timeline and then played out.
In case there is no element playing out at the selected layer, the playout of an element can also be started directly from the Workbench. Please see chapter 6.12 Loading, Cueing and Playing Elements (v2.5) for more informations.
