With the Bash Shell Script Device it is possible to execute Shell Scripts such as with previous version, you can create and execute Bash Shell Scripts to greatly enhance your production workflow.
Devices
Select the Device from the “Device & protocol” list and press the “Add…” button to create the Device. Further configuration will be done within the Recording Event itself. Please see below.:

Presets
Set a name for the Preset, select “Bash Shell Script” and press “Add”.

Then enter your Bash Script code and use press the “Finish” button to create the Event.

Please beware note that you can also use internal variables, such as the Channel Name or File name, within the script, in order to make it even more flexible and useful. |
Once done, press the “Finish” button, and the Event will be visible within the Presets list and therefore it will be available within the Inspector of Just Control as well.
