Adding Events to the Rundown

The Event Library

Click on the Event tab of the Library. Your system administrator should already have prepared events for you. If this is not the case (i.e. the Event list is empty), please contact your system administrator or refer to the chapter above.

Scheduling an Event item

Info

Please see the chapter Adding Elements to your rundown for more information about how to add elements.

Scheduling Events works the same way as using Audio and GFX Graphics.

  1. Go to the Event tab of the Library.

  2. Drag and drop Events to the Event Layer of the Timeline to schedule it.

  3. You may also drop Events to an empty area of a Playlist or an already existing Event element in the Workbench.

  4. When the time has been reached where the Event has been scheduled, all Events within that Event will be executed. This allows you to control several video routers and to send several GPI triggers at the same time.

Events are independent of other elements. That means, you can execute such an Event without the need of a Live Event. This allows you to control other systems independent of the real playout.
