Stopping an Engine
It’s required to stop an engine to In order to be able to change the attributes and functions of the channel the engine belongs to or to change the functionality of the engine itselfdo changes to an Engine or a Channel, it needs to be stopped first. This can be done by stopping the Channel, even in case the engine is running on another machine.
Stop the desired Channel by

To quit an engine (stop the Channel) select the Channel in the Channel View.
Click on the Checkbox deactivating the checkbox in front of it.
Press the Stop button to stop the Channel and to quit the engines assigned to the Channel. Stopping a Channel will also stop the Just Out engine and therefore the final output.
The Channel and the engine are now stopped and you can make your configuration changes.
When you’re done, activate the checkbox in front of the Channel to deactivate the checkbox.
A warning will be shown that the channel and all engines which belong to the same channel will be stopped and that the playout will be interrupted therefore.
Click “Stop” to stop the Channel and to quit the engines assigned to the channel.
