Channel View Area and Inspector

v4.0 consists of the same two main areas as previous versions. There is the main Channel Viewer Area (1) and the Inspector (2) on the right hand side of the User Interface. But with v4With version 4.0 we introduced Tabs tabs for the Inspector, so there are more options and settings within the Inspector and the whole Channel Connection Process connection process (Connections Tabtab) is also placed there.

Channel Viewer Area Layout

The Channel Viewer Area (1) is flexiblelayout can be user defined, which means it could may look different like the picture above at on your machine. This area highly depends on which starting grid layout you have selected and afterwards which "Splits & Joins" 'splits' and 'joins' you were using to build up customise your " grid" to connect your Channels. When the Inspector is closed, you see different icons (top to bottom: Settings, Groups, Connections, Markers) on the right hand side which enables you to open all of the described Tabs . Click them to access the desired tabs directly. The last opened Tab tab is marked.
