This results in an echo and playing audio from other tracks after jump to nextissuing the “Jump To Next” command. When using a channel with more than one Video Layer, make sure that any live event is only scheduled in the first (lowest) Video Layer. Scheduling live events in another Video Layer can result in unexpected behaviorbehaviour.

Broken Videos

It is important to make sure verify that all files which that should be played out are supported and can be played out. An unlicensed version of the Just Out playout engine running on another Mac can be used to test new files. Make sure that the machines are absolutely run on the same, hardware, and software wisespecifications. Make sure all Videos are available, in case reference Videos should be used. Trying to play out broken faulty or unsupported Videos can harm the final output and even crash the engine.

While it is possible to apply a realtime aspect ratio change to a Video which that is used as a part of a graphics file, the change of in the aspect ratio will be ignored during the time the graphics Template is on air. Therefore, we recommend avoiding situations where Video video files with the wrong aspect ratio are used as part of a realtime graphics template using the Just Out Engine Output Function.
