  1. Devices & Presets Tab: Here you can switch between the “Devices” and “Presets” Tab tab. Event Event Devices have to be created in order to created Recording Events. Devices represent the connection to a hardware device (such as an AJA Ki Pro, KUMO or BMD Blackmagic Design HyperDeck or Videohub) or enable the ability to create Events based on Apple Scripts or Bash Scripts. Events get triggered by the Just In Engine application, once selected within Just Control (Channel Inspector).

  2. Event Devices: Area for initial Device settings.

  3. List of current Devices: List of Event Devices which are currently available for the selected Device. By pressing “Add…”, it is possible to create a new Device based on the settings from the Event Devices section (2).

Presets

Open the Just Control Configuration Panel and select a Device, open to the Events Tab Events” taband switch to the “Presets” Tab tab.

Here Event Presets, based on the already created Event Devices, can be created. An Event Preset can be a single Event (e.g. a Script), or multiple Events (e.g multiple Scripts) or a combination of Events (e.g. a KiPro an AJA Ki Pro command and a Script). In order to create an Event Preset, press the “Add Preset”-button. Then a new window appears, where a Preset name can be set and the actual Event Preset can be created (based on the existing Event Devices).
