There are several ways to add Movies, GAP, Live Events as well as Placeholders to a schedule.
Drag one or multiple elements from the library and… - …drop them into an empty area in the calendar view. In this case, a playlist with the proper duration is automatically created with the elements you have dropped in it.
- …drop them into an existing playlist in the calendar view. The element(s) will be added at the end of the playlist.
- …drop them into an existing playlist in the workbench. Before dropping the element(s), its position is indicated by a small turquoise bar which appears between existing elements.
- …drop them into a playlist in the timeline. Before dropping the element(s), its position is indicated by a small blue bar which appears between existing elements.

When the Video track of: - a playlist with a predefined length is being filled with elements, the remaining gap to the end of the current playlist will be displayed.
- an "Auto Duration" playlist is being filled with elements, the length of the playlist will be automatically adjusted.
