This is how the control area of an online channel looks like.

Online channel

If you are connecting to an online channel, the:

"Master Time" will appear in green color

Connected To: information shows (Online)

buffer area is showing a red to green gradient which represents the just:out engine state.

All other parts of the user interface looks the same, does not matter if it is an Online or Offline channel.
