• Is a background application and is required to run, to enable the operation via the the macOS-based Just Control client.

• Is responsible for controlling the Video Hardware and/or handling the incoming NDI® or SRT streams.

• Supports one or multiple video devices for recordings in SD, HD, or UHD.

just:connect (tjc)

• Is the middleware application between the just:in linux engine and the macOS-based Just Control client.

• Runs on the Linux server appliance.

• Handles the communication and enables the connection of multiple macOS-based Just Control clients to one just:in linux engine.

• Provides the ToolsOnAir REST API for remote control.

Just Control (macOS client)

• User interface to connect and control multiple Channels of one or multiple instances of just:in linux engine(s) on the network.

• Shows Realtime Video, Audio, and Timecode Previews from the Channels and lets you select Channel Presets for the channel configuration.

• Is the Application to start and stop Recordings.
