12.1 Menu Bar

 New Channel: Click on the "New Channel" button to open the "New Channel Wizard" which allows you to configure and add a new online channel. Make sure you have all the information needed to make a new channel, like the channel name, the repository folders and the hardware device you are going to use.

 Offline Channel: Click on the "Offline Channel" button to make a new offline channel. Because an offline channel gets all its attributes from an existing "Online Channel", an "Online Channel" must exist and must be selected before.

 Activation: Opens the activation window to show the machine ID (required to activate the channel) and the status of the activated functions.

 Import and Export Rundown: The "Import rundown" and "Export rundown" buttons allow you to save/load all playlists of a certain day to one or several days or even to the playlist repository folder of just:live/just:play. This enables the operator to use it later for individual days.

 Make changes: Before you can make any changes within just:connect, the interface must be unlocked first. Click on the "Make changes" button – you will then be prompted for administrator details of the machine.

 Expert user: Click on the "Expert user" button to get access to advanced functions. A warning will be shown to inform you about the possibility of unexpected behavior after changing any of the advanced settings.
