[JIL] Blackmagic Design HyperDeck v.5.5

General

The BMD HyperDeck Event Device can be used to trigger recordings on an external HyperDeck Device. Furthermore it is possible to set the file name as well, so that both the just:in linux channel and the HyperDeck recording have the same file naming.

Devices

Select the TCP Event Device, set a “Timeout/Delay” value and enter the IP address of the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck device and press the “Add…” button.

Within the new window select “Blackmagic HyperDeck” from the presets list and press the “+” button. With this Event Device Configuration it is possible to create Play, Record and Stop Event Presets.

If the recorded files on the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck should have a matching file naming logic as for the just:in mac channels, then select “Blackmagic HyperDeck Named Record” from the presets list.

Please beware that with the “Blackmagic HyperDeck Named Record” preset option, recordings can only be started. To stop on ongoing record, a standard BMD HyperDeck Event Device is required.

Once the configuration is done, press the “Ok” button to save the Event Device.

Presets

When the Event Device is finished, a new Event Preset can be created. Add a new Preset, set a name, select the BMD HyperDeck device and press the “Add” button. Then set the value to “Record” and save the Event Preset by pressing the “Finish” button.

Once that is done, this Event Preset is available within the Channel Inspector.
