12.8 Channel - Events Tab (v.4.x)

You must unlock the Just Control Configuration window and stop the channel(s) to be able to make any changes.

Devices

This tab allows you to configure hardware based 3rd party devices, which can be controlled using the Event Layer of the just:live and just:play user interface.

  • Event device and configuration area: Select the device protocol and the method (serial, network or VANC) you would like to use with the device.

  • Currently active event devices: Lists all currently active Event Devices.

  • Add Button: Adds the configured Event Device to the list of Event Devices on the right.

  • Save/Load Preset: Each device has its own ID which is used to identify the device in the playlist XML. To transfer the device ID to another system or to save it as a backup, the device can be saved and loaded here.
