just:live supports basic functions using the VDCP protocol. Currently we tested VDCP devices from HiTech but we expect other devices using the same protocol to work properly too. We support the following functions:
Make sure that the option to handle clip names with more than eight characters is enabled ("Vari Length ID" setting in the HiTech device) which allows you a maximum of 93 characters. Currently only the serial port of the KonaLHi is supported, so please make sure you are using this kind of video card.
ToolsOnAir supports communication with newsroom systems via the MOS protocol. This allows Octopus or ENPS newsroom systems to send rundowns (including video and graphics files) directly into just:live's workbench. In addition real time graphics templates can be filled in the newroom system, taken over and played out by just:live. Please → contact us for more information.
