We recommend to provide a continuously stable signal during your recording processes, otherwise the ingest process may be interrupted and the recorded files may not be usable. In order to stabilize the signal in advance (= before it is sent to the video card input) please use an Audio/Video Frame Synchroniser.

This chapter contains a list of supported video devices to record in SD, HD or UHD video signals. When using a Thunderbolt device from AJA or Blackmagic Design, please make sure that the speed of the Thunderbolt bus is 20 Gbit/s (i.e. Thunderbolt 2) or higher (i.e. Thunderbolt 3). This is especially important when recording in UHD.
