The typical implementation of DST is to set clocks forward by one hour in the spring and to set clocks back by one hour in autumn to return to standard time. This could affect recording workflows your playout when working with Computer Time as Timecode Source and especially when working in Schedule Mode and NTP synchronised setupsa Timecode Source which adjusts automatically during DST changes.

In order to get the correct new time applied to the Just In Out Engine (Mac) application, this the application has to be restarted. Afterwards restart the Just Control application as well. Please beware that by restarting the Just In Out Engine (Mac) application, the ongoing recordings playout will be stopped . Therefore we recommend to stop all recordings manually before restarting the Just In Engine (Mac) applicationand the playout will resume at the new time once Just Out has restarted.

In case “Restart on drift” is activated for this channel in the Just Control Configuration - Advanced settings, and the setting defined there is less than the DST time drift (1h), just:out will be restarted automatically.
