Make sure that the channel is ready by verifying the Verify following points.:

just:out is running.
just:connect is running and there is a green light besides the channel you want to use.

Connecting to a Channel via the just:control User interface

just:control is ready on your installed and configured on the appropriate client machine.
You know the name of the channel Channel you want to connect to and the corresponding user/.
You have the required username and password combination to connect to that channelChannel.
