The new just:control version introduces the concepts of Users and Templates and it includes all the existing features to ensure an easy and straight forward working process. In the following chapters you will learn how to work with the new features and how to use them in the best way possible.
Users and Templates
Upon launch of just:control you will see a new login screen. Here you can either work with the default user, where you simply press the Login button to move on, or you can enter a new user name and/or password to create a new user.

Channel View Area and Inspector
The just:control application consists of two main parts, the Channel Viewer Area (1) and the Inspector (2) on the right hand side of the User Interface. With version 4.0 we introduced Tabs for the Inspector, so you can access different options and settings very easily. The Channel connection process (Connections Tab) is available within the Inspector as well and enables a very easy and straight forward process to connect Channels to dedicated Channel Viewers.

Channel Viewer Area Layout
The layout of the Channel Viewer Area (1) can be customised by the operator, which means it can look different on every machine and for every operator. The Channel layout, among other settings, can be saved in Templates and each User can have multiple Templates.
