Cables transmit data between Units and are also used to connect Trigger Ports. Ports are the connecting points of Cables.

Although onCore designer does type conversion automatically, not all types are compatible with each other. For example you can't connect a String Port to an Image Port (or vice versa). onCore designer refuses impossible connections, so you will not be able to connect Ports which are not compatible. |
