The Workbench always shows the content of the track which is selected in the Timeline. The example below shows the Workbench while the Video track is selected. |

File Column: Shows the Poster frame, the file name and if there is a colour tag assigned to the element on Finder level. The poster frame is generated from the Video automatically and can be changed in the Library before it is added to the rundown. Once it is part of the rundown, the poster frame cannot be changed anymore any more for this specific item.
Start Column: Start times of elements.
End Column: End times of elements.
Duration Column: Durations of elements.
Warnings Column: The Warning
and the Sync Point
icons are explained below.
Infinite/Simple FX Graphics Column: This column shows if the Infinite or the Simple FX graphics is turned on for the element.
Dimensions Column: Shows the pixel size of the element (square pixels).
Aspect Column: Shows the original aspect ratio of the Video with a colour code (see below).
Codec Column: Shows the codec of the Video with a colour code which indicates the selected field order (see below).
FPS Column: Shows the frames per second of a Video. Only Videos with a frame rate which matches the Just Out engine's frame rate can be dropped into the rundown. Videos with another frame rate will be rejected when being dropped into the Workbench.
Audio Channels: This column shows the number of Audio channels of a Video.
Playing Element: The name of the item which is currently On Air is shown in GREEN.
Selected Element: A selected element is highlighted in BLUE. Selected elements can be modified in the Inspector. A clip turns GREEN (instead of WHITE) when playing out. Double-clicking an item within the Workbench moves the CTI to the beginning of the clip in the Timeline and will immediately activate Edit Mode.

Search Field: Allows you to search for files in the Workbench. All Playlists which have their start time at the current day will be part of the search result.
Item Count: Shows the number of elements scheduled on the selected Layer of each Playlist which has its start time during the currently selected day.
View Control:
Single View: Shows only the content of the Playlist currently selected in the Calendar View.
Multi View: Shows the content of all Playlists which have the start time during the currently selected day.

White: The aspect ratio of the Video and the Just Out engine is the same.
🔴 Red: Aspect ratio has been changed and does not match the Just Out engine's aspect ratio anymoreany more.

Technically, it is not possible to detect the field order used for a Video. So we assume that all Videos are using upper field first – except all NTSC standard definition Videos and all PAL Videos, which have been compressed using a DV codec. |

If the user interface is in Primary Time Mode, the Workbench shows the current status of the playoutPlayout.
If the user interface is in Edit Mode, the Workbench “simulates” the clips' states accordingly to the CTI position. These are not the clips' states of the real playout Playout. Remember that only those elements which are loaded in the Layer selected in the Timeline will be shown here.

All items where the out-point is in the past of the CTI are greyed out to show that they have been played out already. Moreover, the next Video going on air is greyed out, once it has been loaded into the Buffer. Such items cannot be changed or removed anymoreany more.
On-Air Items
The name of the item which is currently on air is shown in GREEN.
Scheduled Items
All video items where the in-point has not started are shown in WHITE. The item itself and all attributes can be changed.

Gaps are shown in BLACK.
Live events are shown in MAGENTA.
