just:in mac lite NDI uses an online licence system for activating, deactivating, and checking your licence status. So, you'll need an internet connection for these actions. Whenever you activate, deactivate, or transfer the licence, you'll need to be connected to the internet. Once activated, the app checks your licence status every 30 days. This means you can use the app offline for about a month before it has to connect to the internet again to confirm your licence. |
Switch Activation between Channels
If you are working with frequently changing setups, like for instance using eight licensed SDI channels (e.g. with an AJA Corvid 88 or a Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad 2), and you have to change that configuration to use four of these SDI channels with one (1) additional NDI® channel, then please confirm that you only enable the number of licensed channels in use (in that case 4 SDI channels only) and not all of them, as you might exceed the number of totally licensed channels on that particular machine.
