General
The BMD HyperDeck Event Device can be used to trigger recordings on an external Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Device. Furthermore, it is possible to set the file name as well, so that both the just:in mac and the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Recording have the same file naming. Please refer to the BMD HyperDeck Workflow Description for more details.
Devices
Click on the “Add” button to select the “TCP (BMD VideoHub, RossTalk, Evertz Quartz, Sierra Aspen)”Device, set a “Timeout/Delay” value and enter the IP address of the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Device and press the “Add…” button.

Please note that with the “Blackmagic HyperDeck Named Record” Preset option, recordings can only be started. To stop an ongoing Recording, a standard BMD HyperDeck Event Device is required. Fore more details, please refer to the the BMD HyperDeck Workflow Description. |
Press the “Ok” button to save the Event Device upon completion.

Presets
When the Event Device is completed, a new Event Preset can be created. Add a new Preset, set a name, select the BMD HyperDeck device, and press the “Add” button. Then set the value to “Record” and save the Event Preset by pressing the “Finish” button.
