HLS Output

Version 6.1 introduces an exciting enhancement alongside traditional file outputs, namely HLS, to take advantage of the HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) output format. This feature opens up a world of possibilities for seamless integration into production workflows.

With the addition of the HLS output format, one can easily share recordings in real-time with external production teams. This latest version fulfils a highly requested demand from our amazing customers - the addition of “External Audio Sources”.

External Audio Sources

With this feature, operators can now effortlessly utilize external USB audio interfaces as audio sources for a capture channel, unlocking a new realm of workflow flexibility. Plus, we’ve incorporated a delay option, ensuring seamless video and audio synchronization.

This update isn’t just about USB audio interfaces. We’re thrilled to announce support for the Dante Virtual Soundcard, diving into the realm of Dante audio. Now, you can harness the power of the Dante ecosystem for seamless audio routing via the network. Simply select the DVS as your audio input, set your desired delay, and start capturing your video with pristine Dante audio.

And that’s not all! For those utilizing BMD video devices, this update brings unparalleled flexibility in audio input routing. When using your BMD inputs as external audio sources, this allows for cascading audio from one input to another. This feature empowers you to distribute audio internally and in backup scenarios with unprecedented ease.
