General, Multiviewer
You can access the Just Control Preferences with via the application menu Just Control - Preferences> “Preferences” or by using the keyboard shortcut “Command - ,”.

In the “General, Multiviewer” Tab tab you can change Preferences preferences related to the Channel Viewer, Inspector and Login behaviour.

When activating this feature, the Inspector is locked for unintended access, by enabling that setting only users . Only Users with admin access (macOS systemSystem) can change settings within the Inspector. Only the naming section within the Inspector can be adjusted.

Click the Close “Close” button of the Inspector while pressing and holding the “Option-Key”Option” key. You will notice that the “Close” button turns into a Lock while pressing and holding the “Option-Key”Option” key. This indicates that the Inspector can be unlocked.

Lockable Inspector And Multi-Viewer
When enabling activating this feature option, the Inspector and the multi-viewer area are locked for unintended access, by activating that setting only users Only Users with admin access (macOS systemSystem) can change settings within the Just Control user interface. Only the naming section within the Inspector can be adjusted.
That This feature can be enabled/disabled the same way as the “Lockable Inspector” setting from mentioned above.
Automatically Log In Last User
This setting enables the possibility to avoid logging in, when starting Just ControlBy checking this option, entering Login credentials is not required, and the last known User will be automatically logged in. Please note, that this is only possible for Users, which do not have defined any password setyet.
Mouse Behaviour
You can define which overlays will be shown when entering or exiting a Channel ViewViewer.
Mouse Enter Action: select whether the particular specific element will be shown or hidden when the mouse is hovering over a Channel View.
Mouse Exit Action: select whether the particular specific element will be shown or hidden when the mouse is not hovering over a Channel View.
Fullscreen Quicklook Action: select whether the particular specific element will be shown or hidden when the Channel is in Fullscreen Quicklook Mode.
Users
In the “Users” tab, you can you check and adjust all available Users and Templates.

On the left you can see The left column lists all existing Users and by selecting one any of thosethese, you can see the belonging Templates corresponding/allocated Template(s) (Multi-viewer layouts).

If you want to change the password of a User, select the User and press the “Change Password“button” button.

Confirm stop recording
This is a safety feature to avoid unindented unintended recording stopsinterruptions. When enabled, a Recording can only be stopped by pressing the “Record” button a second time to confirm the action. This feature concerns all applies to the “Crash” and “Schedule” recording modes (Crash and Schedule).

When pressing the “Record” button once, a check mark checkmark appears. Press it again to stop the recording process. Otherwise, the recording Recording will continue.
Stopping ongoing Recordings with the “Group Stop Recording” button at the bottom of the Inspector are is affected by this setting as well.

Just Control uses the macOS system-wide Appearance “Appearance” and Accent “Accent” colour, which is set in the General the “Appearance” preference pane within the System Preferences“System Settings…” (macOS Ventura onwards).
