Major Change since Version 3.0

Starting with Version 3.0, live:cut is completely integrated in into Just Control. There is no separate application anymoreany more, instead, you may start a live:cut project directly in from within Just Control. Open To create a new live:cut project, open the menu File → Create live:cut project to switch to the live:cut interface.

• live:cut enables a multicamera workflow for up to 16 cameras, reducing production time by eliminating time-consuming production steps.

• live:cut centralizes centralises ingest, metadata logging, and take handling.

• live:cut records an EDL (Edit “Edit Decision ListList”) based on trigger information from a hardware or software switcher. This EDL can is then converted to a multicamera sequence to be imported and used as a multicamera sequence in your NLE of choice (see Supported NLEs below).

• live:cut currently works natively with Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. The generated Multicam FCPXML 1.10 description file can also be imported and edited with DaVinci Resolve v.18.x.

• Trimming, re-editing and slip & slide operations are available a few seconds after the recording has finished.
