This version brings official support for macOS Mojave. Please use AJA driver version 14.2.1 and the latest driver version from BMD depending on the video device used.
Support for the ability to control just:in v4 engines using Events. This version supports ONLY just:in v4 and higher and does not support v3.x of just:in. Please use v2.6 to control just:in v3.x engines.
Growing or copying files are supported now. Such files are shown in Italic in the Library until they finished growing/copying but can be played out already. The ability to preview growing/copying files is disabled.
Stability and speed improvements as well as several bugfixes.

Version 2.8 Changes - just:live & just:play

Items loaded on the workbench via a double-click in the library now have the colour attribute in inspector as was the case after dragging and dropping item to the timeline.
Colours shown for items in the library, workbench and inspector now use the modern Finder "tags". As a consequence, setting a colour for an infinite graphics layer in just:connect now leads to the expected behaviour that dropping an item from the library with the same tag in the schedule automatically hides the infinite graphics on the layer for the duration of the item.

Version 2.8 Changes - just:live only

Key events (e.g. function keys) are now correctly routed when the workbench is undocked.
Items loaded on the workbench via a double-click in the library now have the colour attribute in inspector as was the case after dragging and dropping item to the timeline.
The "Load Window Layout Preset" menu item in the "View" menu now correctly loads a previously saved preset instead of resetting the window layout.

Fixed a bug that could lead to unexpected behaviour with scheduled playlists and placeholders when the "on:core communication" port was active.
